Welcome to the Noble Drilling DP CPD Program 2026
Please read this guidance before you enroll, begin your assessment, or access learning materials.
Keelson's DP CPD program is based on an Assessment for Learning methodology. It will satisfy your Nautical Institute DP CPD requirement for revalidation.
It is the ONLY DP CPD program to be differentiated by role and rank. This means a Master/OIM will get harder questions than DPO and different questions than a Chief Engineer.
You will need a steady internet connection and a laptop or pc to access Cirrus.
The enrollment link and Cirrus access are below. Please read these instructions first, as the program has changed since last year.
Minimum final score required: 75%.
How does the program work?
1. Enroll
Complete the enrollment form carefully.
2. Receive access
Allow up to three working days for your assessments to appear in Cirrus.
3. Take your baseline assessment
Your first attempt sets your starting point and creates the report that guides your study.
4. Improve and complete the cycle
Study the relevant materials, leave at least 48 hours between attempts, and demonstrate improvement.
BASELINE ASSESSMENT
The baseline attempt establishes your current level and creates the Cirrus report that guides your study plan.
Why it matters:
The baseline shows your starting point. It should reflect your genuine current ability.
-
Complete the baseline honestly and to the best of your ability.
-
It establishes the report that guides your study.
-
Attempts taken within 48 hours of the previous attempt will not count.
-
Deliberate underperformance may be treated as non-compliance.
By enrolling on Keelson's DP CPD program you are agreeing to Keelson Marine Assurance LLC's DP CPD Terms of Use with particular reference to copyright of questions and distractors. You SHALL NOT record questions or distractors
Important: attempts made within 48 hours of the previous attempt will not count. Check your deadline in your Cirrus dashboard.
IMPROVEMENT ASSESSMENT
The improvement assessment shows your progress after the baseline and confirms your learning.
Why it matters:
The follow-up attempts are intended to show genuine improvement after study.
-
Review your baseline report before attempting again.
-
Study the linked DP CPD learning materials.
-
Leave at least 48 hours between attempts.
-
Improvement is measured against your baseline score.
-
3 attempts are available. You do not have to use all 3.
-
Each attempt may contain different questions from the same subject areas.
-
A final score of 75% is required.
-
If your baseline score is already high, you must still complete the full CPD cycle. At scores above 85%, large increases are unlikely, but the follow-up assessment is still required so we can confirm completion and issue your certificate. You will not be penalized if your score does not rise at this level.
Your certificate will be issued within 2 working days, look out for an email from user@smartsheet.keelsonmarineassurance.com. Add this address to your contacts, download and save your certificate as soon as you receive it as the link will expire.
Please email assessment@keelsonmarineassurance.com if you do not receive your certificate within two working days.
Complete the enrollment form carefully. Your name and selected program year will appear on your certificate exactly as entered.
