Welcome to Your Noble Drilling sponsored DP CPD Program
Please read this guidance carefully before you enroll and complete the program. Instructions, test login and learning materials are accessed from this page

Keelson's DP CPD program is based on an Assessment for Learning methodology. It will satisfy your Nautical Institute DP CPD requirement for revalidation.

This is not a training program. We recognize that you are already professionals in your field. This is an opportunity to refresh and improve your DP knowledge. The assessments HARD, they are meant to be. It is the ONLY DP CPD program to be differentiated by role and rank. This means a Master/OIM will get harder questions than DPO and different questions than a Chief Engineer

You will need a steady internet connection and time and space to complete the assessments which should take no longer than 60 minutes. Your assessments are hosted by Cirrus.

Noble Drilling sets a window of 90 days from enrollment in which to complete your program; always check your dates on your Cirrus dashboard. Failure to complete the program within your window dates will incur a re-enrollment fee.

THE CPD PROGRAM

The program consists of two assessments, a baseline and an improvement. To receive your certificate you MUST improve your baseline score after a period of study.

BASELINE ASSESSMENT

You do not need to study for this baseline assessment, you just trust your training and experience.

In order to progress to the improvement assessment and get your Nautical Institute accredited DP CPD certificate for DPO / DPVM revalidation you MUST get a minimum of 30% on this baseline assessment.

You have three attempts to get the minimum score of 30% on your baseline assessment.

If your score is over 30% you can begin your learning towards DP mastery and then take your improvement assessment. If you do not score a minimum of 30% in your baseline assessment the system assumes you have had an internet drop out and allows you two extra attempts. Please ensure you have a reliable connection before trying again.

Once you have scored over 30% ignore the remaining BASELINE assessments in your dashboard unless you want extra practice!

NOTE: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

By enrolling on Keelson's DP CPD program  you are agreeing  to Keelson Marine Assurance LLC's DP CPD Terms of Use with particular reference to copyright of questions and distractors. You SHALL NOT record questions or distractors

IMPROVEMENT ASSESSMENT

BEFORE you take the improvement assessment time to read the report from your baseline assessment and engage with the DP CPD Learning Material and documents from across the DP industry - you will find links and guidance below. When you are confident you can improve your score take your improvement assessment.

If your score from the improvement assessment is HIGHER than your baseline assessment score, then CONGRATULATIONS, you have IMPROVED and you have completed your DP CPD for this year.

If your improvement assessment score does not exceed your baseline assessment score (i.e you have not improved), don’t worry, you have FIVE attempts to improve your score until your CPD window closes. If you have not improved after 5 attempts contact us for next steps. Do not attempt to register a new, lower baseline score, it will not count. If you take the improvement assessment first and then register a lower baseline assessment score we will take the FIRST ASSESSMENT  you have taken as your baseline.

Your certificate will be issued within 2 working days, look out for an email from user@smartsheet.keelsonmarineassurance.com. Add this address to your contacts, download and save your certificate as soon as you receive it as the link will expire.

Please email assessment@keelsonmarineassurance.com if you do not receive your certificate within two working days.

Within 2 days of completing the enrollment form you will receive your confirmation email. Click the link in the email to return to this login page

REMEMBER:

Baseline assessment = 3 attempts to score at least 30%

Improvement assessment = 5 attempts to improve your baseline assessment score
